Bruce Jenner
Bruce Jenner used to be an Olympic track and field athlete; he
won the gold medal in the decathlon at the Montreal 1976 Summer
Olympics.
Since then, he has married Kris Jenner and become integrated into the circus that is the Kardashian family.
Right after the Olympics though, he wanted to cash in on his fame, he became a spokesperson for Wheaties cereal, was picked 139th in the 1977 NBA draft (he doesn't play basketball), appeared in a major movie failure, and appears in two video games.
He also got major plastic surgery in 1984, a nose job and a face-lift at the age of 35. The plastic surgery was career ending because he was almost unrecognizable and no longer could cash in on his celebrity status from the Olympics.

Jennifer Grey
A popular actress in the 80's, Jennifer Grey played Ferris'
sister in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," and got her big break with the
lead role in "Dirty Dancing."
Unfortunately, only 3 years after "Dirty Dancing," she got a nose job that made her unrecognizable. She says, "I went into the operating room a celebrity - and came out anonymous. It was like being in a witness protection program or being invisible." Her signature nose was gone and with it, her acting career.

Meg Ryan
Meg Ryan was the loveable girl next door in "When Harry Met
Sally," but today she looks nothing like her former self.
Though she has not confirmed rumors, lip injections and Botox are speculated to be the reason behind the changes. The surgeries began around 1996, and since she has allegedly started altering her appearance she has stopped landing the same starring roles.

Lara Flynn Boyle
Lara Flynn Boyle is an actress best known for her TV roles in
"Twin Peaks" as Donna, Laura's best friend, and as Helen Gamble in "The
Practice." She has also made appearances in movies such as "Waynes
World" and "Happiness."
Since the 90's though, Lara seems to have over indulged in plastic surgery. Her face is puffed up and she does not look anything like her former self. Since she started altering her looks, her TV and movie careers have stalled.

Heidi Montag
Heidi Montag was on reality TV show "The Hills" as Lauren
Conrad's frenemy. After her time on the show she went through ten
surgeries in one day and now looks like a completely different person.
This arguably did not ruin her career, since she may have not landed anything else after "The Hills" anyway, but this definitely put an end to any potential her career might have had. Today she looks like a caricature of a Barbie.

These celebrities set a good example for the public: learn to
love yourself and age gracefully. The results of trying to alter nature
can be very disturbing.
