About the Team/Directorate Our Commissioning Division is responsible for the process of specifying, securing and monitoring services to ensure that we meet individuals' needs. Our aim is to commission and monitor services that enhance the quality of life of our service users and their carers by understanding demand and supply and building relationships and working in partnership.
The role We are looking for a Commissioning Manager to lead the strategic commissioning and performance monitoring of council services that are delivered for our residents with Mental Health needs.
You will develop and manage effective partnership working with the clinical commissioning group and users carers, work with independent sector and NHS providers and develop pathways across mental health & social services.
You will evaluate our current offerings against best practise and support the development of a new Mental Health Network that includes providing an integrated service provision, brokerage and personalised services for our residents.
The applicant Your experience within service commissioning in a mental health or social care environment along with your knowledge and understanding of the transformation of adult social care is what we are looking for.
Along with relevant management experience and ability to build relationship with internal and external stakeholders, you will have a strategic and innovative approach to ensure efficient service delivery.
