Rosie O'Donnell Confirms The Difficulty In Weightloss

Rosie O'Donnell revealed on how she had weight-loss surgery in 2013 after having a heart attack.

Even though it's been some time since the surgery, Rosie revealed in an interview with "The Insider With Yahoo" right after the show that she still has daily struggles.

"It's difficult, and it remains difficult. Some people after one year of vertical gastric-sleeve surgery have lost more than I have.

I have lost 55 pounds, about. The doctor would like me to lose 30 more. He would like me to have lost that already, but I said to him, 'I'm doing the best I can.'"

And emotionally, it's not always easy for "The View" host to be happy. She explained, "The emotional repercussions of being in a different size are hard for me to deal with as well.

Everybody would think you must be so happy that you're smaller, but truthfully, if you've been big your whole life, there's a reason."

But Rosie was positive about her future. "The great thing is, I have yet to gain in a week," she said. Check out this video to see more from Rosie, and tune in to "The Insider With Yahoo" on TV tonight.
