Cheryl Cole 'Heartbroken' Over Family Dog Cancer

Cheryl Cole has asked fans to send their "happy vibes" and "prayers" to her sick dog, Kiera.
The former Girls Aloud singer posted a picture of the Jack Russell, who has cancer, on Instagram.

The 30-year-old wrote: "This is my dog Kiera. I have had her since she was two months old and I was 16.
"Tomorrow she has radiotherapy".
This is my dog Kiera. I have had her since she was two months old and I was 16. Tomorrow she has radiotherapy and will be in doggy hospital for two to three weeks. Will you help me send her happy vibes and pray for her with me please? She's my oldest baby and it's breaking my heart.

The star also added that the pet will be in "doggy hospital" for two to three weeks.
She said in the message: "Will you help me send her happy vibes and pray for her with me please? She's my oldest baby and it's breaking my heart."

Cheryl owns four dogs and has previously said she only trusts her pets and her mother.
The Call My Name singer said in 2009: "I've come to the conclusion that I don't trust anybody in life except my mother and my dogs."

Cheryl's news comes just days after she celebrated her 30th birthday in Las Vegas.

Earlier this year, Girls Aloud announced they were splitting up following the last night of their 10-year celebration tour.

A tweet from the band's official account said: "We have now come to the end of our incredible time together."

The message was sent shortly after the five singers came off stage.
