The family of a 12 year old boy who was allegedly beaten to death by
his father now needs help to bury the child.
A fundraiser was held last night to raise money to bury Eric Forbes. You can also contribute to the effort online. Deputies found 12-year-old Eric beaten and unconscious inside a home he shared with his father last Friday night.
The boy was later pronounced dead at the hospital. Authorities say there was evidence of ongoing abuse.
32 year old Shayaa Forbes, is now charged with felony murder and two counts of child cruelty in the death.
