Cleveland Ranked Children Best Clinic

Three of Cleveland Clinic Children’s specialties cardiology and heart surgery, gastroenterology and GI surgery and Urology are ranked top as the best in Northeast Ohio and among the top 30 nationwide.

As an integral part of Cleveland Clinic, which was ranked the nation’s No. 2 hospital in 2016 by U.S. News, Cleveland Clinic Children’s earned national recognition in nine specialties including: Neurology & Neurosurgery (16), Urology (24), Cardiology & Heart Surgery (27), Gastroenterology & GI Surgery (28), Pulmonology (35), Neonatology (40), Orthopedics (41), Cancer (44), and Diabetes & Endocrinology (50).

In 2016, Cleveland Clinic Children’s expanded its sub-specialty care with the addition of Hillcrest Hospital Pediatrics a comprehensive pediatric outpatient suite that offers primary care, as well as 20 specialties and specialty clinics. According to U.S. News, the “Best Children’s Hospital” rankings score the top 50 children’s hospitals in 10 specialties, the level and quality of hospital resources directly related to patient care, such as staffing, technology and special services; delivery of healthcare, such as reputation among pediatric specialists, programs that prevent infections and adherence to best practices; and clinical outcomes, such as patient survival, infection rates and complications.
