See The High Value Of Omega 3

Omega 3 fatty acids play a role in protecting against cardiovascular disease. They also help to reduce inflammation, prevent blood clots, support good brain health as well as immune system function.

Foods enriched with omega 3’s

Consider including some of these foods into your diet as they contain omega 3 fatty acids:

Salmon

Salmon has been popularly known for its amazing omega 3 benefits. It is a delicate and delicious oily fish that is enjoyed by many!

Sardines

Sardines seem to be one of the richest source of omega 3 fatty acids. They are relatively inexpensive and are widely available at most supermarkets. Have them on toast or perhaps even with pasta – they are delicious to have as a meal or even snack!

Walnuts

Not only are walnuts one of the tastiest nuts around, they are also a fabulous source of omega 3’s. You can have them plain – on their own, add them to muesli or even incorporate them into your baking.

Should I take omega 3 supplements?

Chat to your doctor about taking omega 3 supplements, especially if you feel that your diet does not adequately provide you with some.
