Blake Shelton Is The Sexiest Man Alive - People's Magazine

Country crooner Blake Shelton -- also known for his role as a judge on TV's The Voice -- is this year's "sexiest man alive," People Magazine announced yesterday.

Shelton, 41, is the boyfriend of rocker Gwen Stefani, who may have already come to this conclusion.

"She goes, ‘Listen to me, you’re going to regret this for the rest of your life if you don’t take this gift and just live in the moment,'" Shelton told the magazine.

The lanky Oklahoma native, who has a passion for eating and a chubby past, laughed that he has finally come into his own.

"It’s going to be used in every conversation, whether it’s at The Voice, or at the feed in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, or in a conversation with a doctor," he said.

"You’re damn right, I’m Mr. Sexy! I’ve been ugly my whole life, if I can be sexy for a year, I’m taking it. I’m taking it.”

The title is yet another thing he shares with "Voice" co-star Adam Levine of Maroon 5, now a close friend.

"I can’t wait to shove this up Adam’s ass," Shelton adds. "As proud as I am and honored that you guys asked me, that’s really the only thing I care about."

Cristiano Ronaldo Welcomes Baby Number Four

Real Madrid Cristiano Ronaldo on Sunday announced that he had become a father for the fourth time after girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez gave birth to a baby girl, Alana Martina.

"Alana Martina has just been born! Both Geo and Alana are doing great.

We are all very happy," the beaming 32-year-old footballer wrote on Twitter, posting a photo of himself, Rodriguez, his seven-year-old son Cristiano Junior and the new arrival.

Ronaldo is also the father of twins, Eva and Mateo, who were born in June.

At the end of October, the Portuguese star had revealed in a video on social media the name of the child as well as the proposed due date of the baby, initially fixed at November 21.

Ronaldo was on hand for the birth of Alana Martina after being rested by Portugal coach Fernando Santos for friendly matches against Saudi Arabia and the United States during the ongoing international break.

History In Making Woman Becomes First Transgender Officially Elected in Virginia

An American Democrat made history on Tuesday by becoming Virginia’s first openly transgender state delegate, winning her bid for a seat in the legislature.

In a campaign that garnered national attention, musician and former journalist Danica Roem, 33, prevailed in her race against Republican Robert Marshall, who has served as a delegate for a quarter century and once referred to himself as Virginia’s “chief homophobe.”

With 95 percent of the vote counted, Roem was leading with 55 percent of the vote against Marshall’s 45 percent.

The Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund described Roem as the only out transgender person in US history to win a seat in a state legislature.

“Tonight voters chose a smart, solutions-oriented trans leader over a divisive anti-LGBTQ demagogue, sending a powerful message to anti-trans legislators all across the nation,” Victory Fund president Aisha Moodie-Mills said in a statement.

Roem rode to victory on strong fundraising by the Victory Fund and other pro-LGBT groups and voters, which helped her grass-roots effort to raise awareness of her campaign in Virginia’s Prince William County.

She will now serve two years in the House of Delegates in Richmond, where Democrats gained several seats Tuesday and appeared close to seizing control of the legislature from Republicans.

The former journalist emphasized last month that she was not entering politics to be an LGBTQ symbol, under a president who recently banned transgender people from serving in the military.

Instead she aimed to take on municipal issues using the knowledge she amassed during nearly a decade covering local news for the Gainesville Times paper.

The septuagenarian Marshall — a staunch gay marriage opponent — refused to use the pronoun “she” when referring to Roem during the campaign, and he also refuses to debate her.

In a brief statement on Facebook, Marshall thanked his supporters.

“For 26 years I’ve been proud to fight for you, and fight for our future. Though we all wish tonight would have turned out differently, I am deeply grateful for your support and effort over the years,” he wrote.

Jide Tinubu Died Of Heart Attack

A close family to the Tinubu's has revealed the cause of Jide Tinubu's death.

The family member who remained anonymous due to the sensitive nature of the death said Jide held his chest and suddenly collapsed around 9pm on Tuesday the 31st of October 2017.

Jide who reportedly died of heart attack was rushed to a private hospital where he was confirmed dead on arrival.

Tinubu was not informed until after he returned to Lagos from Abuja.

Jide Tinubu, the son of Tinubu’s first wife (not Remi Tinubu) had a wife and 3 children who are based in London.

His body is currently at the mortuary of the undisclosed private hospital where he is expected to undergo autopsy.
