Information just reaching Daily Times is that the National
Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) may soon be ending its ongoing
industrial strike action.
This was made known by a medical doctor at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, (LUTH) Idi-Araba, who pleaded anonymity.
According to her: "NARD just had a meeting with the federal government and they said all their demands will be met. There will be a communique to that effect."
Earlier, the association's president, Dr. Jubril Abdullahi directed its members nationwide to proceed on an indefinite strike with effect from 1st of October.
