Weigh in
regularly. Keeping track of your weight is another trick employed by successful
losers.
When you see the needle on your scale
going in the wrong direction, nip
it in the bud by increasing physical activity and watching portion sizes more
carefully. Don’t wait for your weight to spiral out of control. Make small
changes as soon as you see the number increasing.
As you have
no doubt heard, good dental hygiene helps prevent lungs disease. A recent study
shows that gum disease may open the door to some serious lung diseases.
For good
gum-and lung-health, brush your teeth atleast twice a day for two minutes. Even
its better to brush after meal if you can. The key is to keep dental-that
sticky, bacteria filled film that forms on teeth- from building up causing
gingivitis and periodontal disease.
Study shows that spending atleast two
minutes brushing each cleaning session is ideal for removing plaque.
Slow down
ageing. A new study shows that marinating meats in lemon juice-or vinegar-can
help greatly reduce the production of harmful compounds leads to aging chronic
disease.
Recent
research that canola may have the edge. In an animal study, including canola
oil in the diet seems to do a better job of suppressing the growth of colon
tumors, compared with when corn oil was included in the diet.
